What is Remy human hair?

Remy hair is the finest quality human hair available on the market today. Remy Hair refers to human hair that retains the cuticle layer, the outer most part of the hair strand, flowing in the same direction, flowing the way hair does naturally. The delicate process which maintains the cuticle in hair wefts is the key advantage of Remy hair keeping it soft and silky, smooth and shiny, long-lasting and tangle-free. What makes Lacer hair extensions difference?

Lacer Hair is minimally processed. Our gentle Lacer dyeing process is a very slow process which is the least damaging to hair and gives you the healthiest quality hair, allowing your hair extension to look their best longest. We take the quality of our product very seriously, which is why we set ourselves apart from other companies on a completely different level of quality & authenticity.

How long will the hair last?

The lifespan of Lacer Hair Extensions is determined by how much you wear them and how well you take care of them. Usually, hair extensions last 6 to 12 months, depending on how often you use them.

Can I dye hair?

We don’t officially recommend dying our extensions, as many of our natural hair extensions have already been specially dyed to get the perfect color. If you do decide to dye your extensions, NEVER bleach or go lighter.

How do I choose the right color?

When choosing a color to match your own hair, choose a color that matches your hair from the middle to the ends. Never choose the hair color of your "roots" as that tends to be a different shade. The color match best for your hair will be the color of your hair from your chin down to ends of your hair. How to choose the right length for your hair?

To be able to know what length to choose, kindly get a ruler or a measuring tape and measure from the top of the ear to where you want the extensions to reach - and that is the length you should buy!

Classic Clip in Extensions

Do you offer different density of Classic Clip in hair extensions in addition to volume?

Clip-in LACER Hair extensions are available in our 100g & 120g Classic collection, 130g & 140g Classic collections. All clip-in extensions are sold in a full set (generally 9/10 wefts depending on the weight/set). The only difference between each set is the weight. The higher the grams, the more hair that is attached to each weft. The individual strands themselves will remain consistent in thickness. 

100g & 120g collection is an ideal set thin or medium hair type, that will add natural volume to your hair. 130g & 140g collection is an ideal set for medium or thick hair type, that will add extra volume.

Do you offer test sample to color match?

Each full set of Clip-In Hair extensions come with a free tester weft allowing you to check the color and quality of extensions before you decide to keep the set.

Kindly note, this tester weft is part of the full set. If the color does not match as intended, please make sure that all pieces are returned including the tester piece. Then, initiate an exchange or a return here.

Will LACER Hair Extensions stay in my hair, without slipping out?

Don't worry, our extensions will not just slide out on their own, even with fine hair. If you would like added support on occasion, you can gently tease the hair just at the base where you plan to attach the clip. For even more hold, lightly spray the teased section with hairspray and let it dry, before attaching the clip.

Will LACER Hair Extensions damage my hair?

Clip-in Hair Extensions can be reapplied and styled daily without causing any damage. Proper wear is important to the health of your hair. Unfasten the clip and lower the location where you are clipping them to and try gasping more hair in the clip. The clip should only be attached to your hair and not pulling on your scalp.

Do I have to wash them before wearing them?

No, these Classic clip extensions are ready to wear right out of the package. Brush them and curl them either before putting them in your hair, or after.

Ultra Seamless Clip in Extensions

What is the difference between Classic and Seamless hair extensions?

Classic Remy hair extensions are slightly thicker at the base, providing extra volume at the roots. Seamless hair extensions, on the other hand, have a silicone weft, and are thinner at the base. Classic Collection is good for medium-thick hair, or a blunt haircut. Our Seamless Collection is good for fine - medium hair type with an average amount of hair and want less volume at the root.

Do seamless hair extensions shed less than Classic hair extensions?

Seamless Clip-in Extensions are designed to be worn all day and night without feeling like you’re wearing clip-ins. And as we use high-quality Remy human hair and silicone wefts, our luxury hair extensions are durable with virtually no shedding.

Can I sleep with the Ultra Seamless clip ins? Do they have to be removed daily?

We would recommend remove the human hair extensions daily. They can get tangled just from wearing them all day, sleeping in them is possible but we wouldn’t recommend it. Due to the friction between the hair and the pillow may aggravate the knotting of the hair extension.

Will Ultra Seamless clip in extensions help my hair look like it has more volume?

Yes, definitely! Ultra Seamless clip in hair extensions have more hair that is attached to each weft. One pack is enough for a full head. Get your hair at full volume instantly. Even better if you style it, add some waves!

Can I do two french braids using Ultra Seamless clip in hair extensions? Will it be noticeable in the part?

It’s ok! The Ultra Seamless clip-ins is very skin friendly and the top silicone color is similar to skin tone. It's not very obvious and can be well hidden in the hair. You can clip it on your hair for any shape, you just need to choose the color you like.

Remy Tape in Extensions

How many packages should I buy for a complete look?

More packs equal more volume. 2-3 packs for natural look. 4-5 packs perfect for additional volume. 6+ packs perfect for ultimate volume and length.

After I remove these tape hair extensions, will it damage my natural hair?

No. You just need the proper tools and products to remove it without damaging or losing your hair.

Can I do these by myself or do I need to go to a salon?

If you know how to install tape in extensions than you could possibly do them yourself. But we'd suggest having them put in with professional stylist , because then you have a higher chance of getting them installed correctly. Having them last longer. Less chance of breakage in your hair, etc.

Can I cut the width of the tape hair extensions myself? I want to make these tape thinner.

Yes. You can cut it into smaller wefts.

Can I wash and conditioner my hair with the hair extensions on? Can I apply hair oil on it?

Yes you can it’s human hair. Also you can use hair oil on your extensions , however avoid going near the bond/tape.

I’m new to the tape ins. How do you take them out? And does the purchase come with the spray to remove them?

They do not come with the remover. We recommend theBig Kizzy remover and it works great.

How do I make my Doores ponytail extensions blend with my hair?

If you’re concerned about the blend you can curl your hair to match the texture, or put it in a bun and apply the ponytail over top for the most natural look.

Hair Care

Can I curl and straighten my hair extensions?

lACER Hair is real human hair and can be heat styled using a flat iron, curler just like your own hair. Always use a heat protectant and set your hot tools to a low-medium setting of 360℉ to avoid damaging the hair.

Can I cut LACER hair extensions?

Since it is a different technique than cutting regular hair, it needs to be done right to avoid a choppy look. Cutting them to blend with your hair will give you amazing and natural results!

How should I brush my extensions?

Always start brushing from the bottom and start by removing tangles in short sections and work your way up. You can also wash and condition the extensions before brushing them to help remove some tangles and smooth the hair.

How often should I wash my LACER hair?

For most people is not necessary to wash your extensions after every use.
If you find that your extensions are tangling or frizzing up, please consider washing them.

Wash Schedule:
- If you have oily hair: Wash & Condition after every 2-5 wears.
- After using hairspray or styling products: Wash & condition after 1-2 wears.
- Dry hair: Wash & condition after 10-15 wears
- Normal Hair/scalp: Wash & Condition 5-10 wears
- If you swim with them (not recommended): Wash and condition immediately.

Can I swim, bathe or shower with my hair extensions?

We don’t recommend swimming, bathing or showering with extensions clipped in.

Salt water and chlorine can alter the color of the hair, and damage the clips. Swimming while wearing extensions can also tangle the hair causing damage to your own hair.

How can I keep the hair from tangling so much?

We recommend use shine spray to keep it smooth and tangling. Using wide-tooth comb is also super important to detangle without causing breakage which can cause ends to tangle even more.

When will my order ship?

LACER processes and ships orders with a cut-off time of 4pm EST. If orders placed after 4pm EST will be processed and shipped the next day. We ship everyday, including weekends and holidays. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, even if your shipping is upgraded to express.

What if my order already shipped?

At this point LACER is unable to make changes to an order. Good news, once you receive your order we have an easy returns process!
